Hi, I am Rick Michael. I was born in Gosport Hampshire but had to move around the country as my father was in the Navy. I have always been into music. As a boy I used to pretend I was a radio DJ in my room. From the age of sixteen I started my own mobile disco Roadshow. By the time I was 21 years of age I started touring the UK and worked alongside some of the big groups of the 90s. I have also done Entertainment on cruise ships . After that I became an Entertainments Manager for a few years. I have done Hospital Radio shows as I have always wanted to host a Radio show. Three years ago I came second in the Listeners Choice Awards where I hosted The Rhythm Nation Show on various radio stations.

I like football and I am a real big fan of Manchester United. I was a season ticket holder and my whole family are Manchester United fans and we have a couple of season tickets between us. I also do photography. I love taking photos of landscape and wildlife and sporting moments. I now live in Weymouth with my wife Annette. I have a two-year-old labrador retriever dog named Christie and he is a very big dog. I also have a two-year-old grey cat well I say grey-- the breeders say blue lol . She is called Misty.

I love music and in my spare time I am always doing something with music. I am looking forward to connecting up with you all so please don't be shy come and join me and say hi. I must warn you I sometimes do make mistakes but that is part of being live on air and I love it .
